        Next year marks the 50th anniversary of pop superstar Diana Ross’ impressive career in the music industry. And, for more than 30 of those years, Portland artist George Mitchell has been on stage as her first-call pianist. He has toured every year since 1981 as part of the rhythm section, and continues to perform before audiences worldwide. If you haven’t heard of George Mitchell, perhaps it’s because he’s been on the road.
